INGREDIENTS FOR THE DOUGH
- 500 g plain flour
- 300 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 42 g fresh yeast
- 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Ketchup
- 250 g cheddar
- 200 g sour cream
- A handful of fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Mix sugar and crumbled yeast in lukewarm milk. Let it work for 5 minutes. In a larger bowl, mix flour with salt and add the yeast mixture. Knead a compact dough by hand. Cover with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 30 - 45 minutes.
- 2Chop the basil and mix it with sour cream. Stir in olive oil and add salt. Crush the garlic cloves and mix with a few tablespoons of water. Grate the cheese finely.
- 3Once the dough has risen, knead it again and divide it into 6 equal parts. Form smaller flatbreads and let them rise for another 10 minutes.
- 4Heat a thicker layer of oil in a pan. Stretch the flatbreads to the sides and fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
- 5Serve the langos brushed with garlic, ketchup, and sprinkled with cheese. The second option is with garlic, herb sour cream, and cheese.
