INSTRUCTIONS FOR BURGER
- 1Slice the tomatoes into 16 slices. Peel the onion and cut it into thin rings. Grill the bacon on a medium-hot grill on both sides until golden brown and set aside.
- 2Shape the meat into 4 patties the size of the buns, season with salt and pepper on both sides, and brush with melted butter. Place on a medium-hot grill and grill for 3 minutes. Then turn the meat, brush again with melted butter, and grill for another 2 minutes. Then place 1 slice of cheese on each piece of meat and grill for another 1 minute. Place the finished meat on a plate.
- 3Cut the buns in half lengthwise and grill them cut side down.
- 4Spread 1 tablespoon of flavored mayonnaise on each half of the bun. On the bottom half of the bun, place some iceberg lettuce, 2 slices of tomato, the grilled meat with cheese, another 2 slices of tomato, grilled bacon, and onion rings. Cover with the top half of the bun.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLAVORED MAYONNAISE
- 1Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Tip
Do not overcook the meat. It should remain red inside, at most pink like a classic steak. This way, the meat will stay juicy.
