INGREDIENTS

  • 20 g capers in brine
  • 20 g pickled gherkins
  • 10 g peeled onion
  • 300 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground pepper
  • Pinch of granulated sugar

METHOD

    Rinse the capers and let them drain. Then finely chop them. Finely grate the gherkin. Finely chop the onion.

    In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, capers, gherkins, onion, sugar, and lemon juice. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Mix well and let chill in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Tip
You can find the recipe for homemade mayonnaise in the "Side Dishes" category. You can also stir one finely chopped hard-boiled egg into this sauce. You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few drops of Tabasco. You can add a teaspoon of Kremžská mustard. But then do not add sugar.
