INGREDIENTS

  • 3 egg whites
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 130 g shredded coconut

INSTRUCTIONS

    First, preheat the oven to 135–140 °C and line 2 baking sheets (42 cm × 30 cm) with baking paper.

    Then start preparing the mixture for the macaroons. In a medium-sized bowl, place 3 egg whites and beat them with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Gradually whisk in the brown sugar until it is all used and the mixture is firm and glossy. Finally, gently fold in the shredded coconut with a spatula.

    Spoon the macaroon mixture (Ø approx. 2–3 cm) onto the baking sheets lined with baking paper. Place the prepared sheets in the oven preheated to 135–140 °C and bake the macaroons for 25–30 minutes.

    After baking, let the macaroons cool for a while and serve.

You can dip the macaroons in quality melted dark chocolate before serving.
