INGREDIENTS
- 250 g turkey or chicken livers
- 10 g lard
- 70 g onion
- Fresh thyme
- 25 ml cream
- 70 g butter
- 2 pinches of salt
- Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Clean the livers and quickly sauté them in lard for about 3 minutes, then add chopped onion into small pieces and thyme. After another 3 minutes, simmer for about 5 minutes (reduce the heat) under a lid.
- 2Then remove the lid and let the water evaporate. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cream. Let it cool down for a moment.
- 3Then blend with a hand blender and gradually add butter cubes. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4Pour the liquid pâté into jars and let it cool. Place in the refrigerator and let it set. Store in the fridge, where it will last for 4 days.
