BUN BO NAM BO

  • 400 g beef
  • 1 lemongrass stalk
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Mung bean sprouts
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • Coriander
  • Perilla
  • Vietnamese balm
  • Peanuts
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 package of bun noodles
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil

DRESSING

  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 chili pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cut the meat into the thinnest slices possible, add 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, a pinch of salt, grated garlic, finely chopped lemongrass, one tablespoon of oil, a pinch of pepper, and let it marinate for half an hour to an hour.

    Cut all the vegetables and herbs into thin strips. Roast the peanuts in a pan and crush them in a mortar or with a rolling pin.

    Cook the bun noodles (according to the instructions). After cooking, rinse them with cold water to prevent sticking, and then rinse again with hot water.

    Quickly stir-fry the meat in a hot pan and season as needed.

    In a large bowl, place the bun noodles, vegetables, mung bean sprouts, herbs, meat, and pour the dressing over everything. Finally, sprinkle with peanuts.
