INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1
First, preheat the oven to 185–190 °C, prepare a baking tray (30 cm × 40 cm) and line it with baking paper.
  • 2
In the meantime, prepare the biscuits. In a large bowl, mix oat flour, rolled oats, ground cinnamon, melted butter, milk, baking powder, ground walnuts, and eggs. Work the mixture into a thinner dough. If the dough is too thick, add a little milk. Using a spoon, start forming circles (Ø approx. 7 cm) on the prepared tray from the finished dough – this amount of dough will make 14 circles. Once all the dough is used, place the tray in the preheated oven at 185–190 °C for 17–18 minutes.
  • 3
After baking the biscuits, remove them from the tray and let them cool for at least 40 minutes.
  • 4
Meanwhile, prepare the curd cream. In a bowl, mix vanilla extract with 550 g of curd and honey. Mix the mixture thoroughly.
  • 5
Once the biscuits are cooled, prepare a loaf pan or a narrower baking dish (20 cm × 30 cm) and line it with baking paper. Then start placing the baked biscuits closely next to each other on the bottom of the form to create a solid biscuit layer. Once the bottom layer is done, spread a layer of prepared curd cream about 2–2.5 cm thick on it. Then place another layer of biscuits on the curd cream. Continue in the same way until the form is full, with the last layer being made of biscuits.
  • 6
Place the filled form in the refrigerator and let it rest for at least 12 hours.
  • 7
After the time has elapsed, remove the contents from the form and prepare a smaller bowl. Place the remaining 200 g of curd and cocoa in the bowl and mix together. Cover the biscuit slices with the resulting mixture on all sides.
  • 8
Finally, finely grate dark chocolate over the slices. Try to cover the slices with the grated chocolate again on all sides. Then place the biscuit slices back in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Cut the chilled biscuit slices into individual portions and serve.
