INGREDIENTS
- 500 g pulp from fresh ripe mango (1 large mango)
- 250 g frozen mango
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 50 g honey
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Peel and cut the fresh mango into pieces. Heat the frozen mango until softened. Add to the fresh mango and blend with an immersion blender. Strain through a sieve (this will remove fibers that would be distracting in the sorbet). Put into a pot, add honey and lemon juice, and gently heat to combine the honey nicely with the mixture.
- 2Then let it cool and pour into a prepared ice cream maker. If you don't have one, put it in a container in the freezer. Stir about two to three times while it is freezing.
- 3Before serving, take it out of the freezer about 20 minutes in advance.
