INGREDIENTS FOR FERMENTED QUARK
- 250 g of fat soft quark
- 5-6 g of salt
- Approx. 80 ml of milk
INGREDIENTS FOR GARNISHING AND BREAD
- Rohlík's Nut Bread
- Chives
- Extra virgin olive oil
YOU ALSO NEED
- Preserving jar
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Mix all the ingredients into a smooth, stretchy mass. If you need to add a little more milk, that's fine.
- 2Transfer to a clean jar (ideally filled with boiling water from a kettle beforehand) and leave for a day, maximum two (preferably only in winter, in summer really max. 24 hours) out of the sun on the kitchen counter. Then put it in the fridge and store it there.
Tip
You can spread the fermented quark on bread, sprinkle with chives, and drizzle with olive oil. It also works perfectly as a base for all kinds of spreads instead of classic quark, Lučina, or fresh cheese.
