INGREDIENTS
- 500 g Hokkaido pumpkin
- 1 large red onion
- 100 g feta cheese
- 3 medium-sized eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mace
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary
- 4 tablespoons sunflower oil
- Salt
- 2x pie dough
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius - top and bottom heat. Clean the pumpkin and cut it into cubes. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil, sprinkle with ground mace, cinnamon, and cardamom. Salt and mix. Bake for 20 minutes until soft.
- 2Place one part of the dough into a greased mold and shape the edges higher.
- 3Cut the onion into half rings and sauté in the remaining oil until golden. Let it cool, then mix in the eggs and crumbled feta cheese. Add rosemary and the baked, smoothly blended pumpkin. Place the pumpkin mixture into the mold. From the second part of the dough, cut out eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Cover the mixture and press the edges with a fork.
- 4Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 45 - 50 minutes.
