INGREDIENTS
- 2 large avocados (2× 240 g)
- 40 g mayonnaise (for a lighter version, it can be replaced with sour cream)
- 1⁄2 large red onion (can be replaced with yellow)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1–2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of fresh basil (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- Salt
- Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Remove the skin and pit from the avocados and place them in a tall container. Add mayonnaise and blend with a hand blender until smooth.
- 2Peel the red onion, chop finely, and add to the blended avocado mixture. Peel the garlic and press it into the container with the other ingredients. Then add 1–2 tablespoons of lemon juice to taste and finely chopped herbs.
- 3Mix everything, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
