INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g chicken breasts (cut into small cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon Provencal herbs
  • 3 tablespoons rapeseed oil
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 300 ml chicken broth (or vegetable, can be substituted with bouillon)
  • 400 g gnocchi in dry form
  • 250 ml cooking cream (12% fat)
  • 200 g fresh spinach (or 200 g thawed)
  • 60 g Parmesan (finely grated)
  • Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

    First, season the chicken with Provencal herbs, salt, and pepper.

    In a large pan, heat the oil over medium to high heat, then add the chicken and sauté for 6–8 minutes over medium heat. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and press the garlic.

    Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and add the onion and garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes, then pour in the broth and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes over low to high heat. Next, add the gnocchi, slowly stir in the cream, and cook for 2–3 minutes. Then add the spinach and chicken and cook for another 2 minutes. Finally, sprinkle Parmesan into the pan, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
