INGREDIENTS

  • Half a turnip, approx. 500 g
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 spring onion
  • ½ bunch of chives
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g spelt flour
  • 2 small teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons of oil for frying

INGREDIENTS FOR THE DIP

  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • Chives

INSTRUCTIONS

    Peel the turnip, cut it into several pieces, and grate it on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Cut the spring onion lengthwise and then slice it into thin half-moons. Peel and crush the garlic. Chop the chives finely.

    Place the prepared vegetables in a bowl, add the eggs, flour, marjoram, and salt, and mix.

    Heat a non-stick pan and pour in a tablespoon of oil. Use a spoon to form small pancakes from the prepared batter on the pan, and fry them on both sides over low heat.

    Serve with a dip made by mixing the listed ingredients with finely chopped chives.
