INGREDIENTS
- 500 g chicken breasts
- 100 g yellow onion
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- Zest of 1 small lemon (finely grated)
- 200 ml whipping cream (33% fat)
- Salt
- Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 220–225 °C and prepare a larger oven-safe pan.
- 2Wash the chicken breasts, pat them dry, and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Peel and finely chop the onion.
- 3Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in the prepared pan over medium heat. Then add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
- 4Add the chicken breasts to the sautéed onion and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side over medium heat.
- 5Add dried rosemary and grated lemon zest to the pan and mix everything together. Then pour in the whipping cream, transfer the pan to the preheated oven, and bake for 23–25 minutes at 220–225 °C.
- 6After baking, divide the chicken breasts onto 2 plates, add the resulting sauce from the pan to each portion, and serve.
