Ingredients
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 60 g of English bacon
- 100 g of smoked Edam cheese
- 20 g of spring onion
- 350 g of chicken meat
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of full-fat mustard
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon of dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder
- 40 g of breadcrumbs
- 70 ml of sunflower oil
Instructions
- 1Peel and crush the garlic, cut the bacon into small cubes, finely grate the smoked Edam cheese, and finely chop the spring onion.
- 2In a blender, place the roasted chicken meat, ketchup, mustard, 2 eggs, Worcestershire sauce, marjoram, curry powder, 3 tablespoons of water, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper, and blend until the mixture still has visible pieces of the individual ingredients. Transfer the blended mixture to a larger bowl, add the chopped spring onion, bacon, and grated Edam cheese, and mix well.
- 3Prepare a medium-sized bowl and pour in the breadcrumbs. Then start forming patties from the meat mixture, each weighing approximately 100 g, and coat them in the bowl with breadcrumbs.
- 4In a large pan, heat 70 ml of sunflower oil over medium heat. Then place the coated patties in the pan and fry them for 6–7 minutes on each side over low to medium heat. Meanwhile, prepare a plate lined with paper towels and place the fried patties on it to remove excess fat.
- 5You can serve the fried patties immediately.
