Ingredients
- 2 small yellow onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 handful of fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- 30 g of butter
- 500 g of potato gnocchi
- 220 g of canned chopped tomatoes
- 150 ml of vegetable broth
- 250 g of mozzarella
Instructions
- 1Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Tear the basil into large pieces.
- 2Take a pan and heat sunflower oil and butter over medium heat. Then add the gnocchi to the pan and fry them, stirring constantly, for 7–8 minutes over medium heat.
- 3Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan and sauté everything together for 3–4 minutes over medium heat.
- 4Add the canned chopped tomatoes, vegetable broth, salt, and pepper to the pan and cook everything over medium heat for 7–8 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- 5Turn off the heat and add the torn basil to the pan.
- 6Divide the mixture from the pan into 4 servings, tear mozzarella on top of each, and serve.
