INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pcs eye round steak (1x approx. 200g)
  • 400 g baby potatoes
  • American potato seasoning mix
  • Olive oil
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 handful fresh coriander
  • 8 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Juice from half a lime
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground four-color pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter

INSTRUCTIONS

    Massage olive oil into the room temperature steak, season with salt and pepper, and let it rest. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes for 10 minutes, then arrange them on a baking sheet with parchment paper and crush them with a glass. Sprinkle with American potato seasoning, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with American potato seasoning. If the seasoning already contains salt, do not add more. Bake at 220°C for 10 minutes until crispy.

    Sear the meat in a very hot pan, then reduce the heat and grill to medium doneness for 7 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the meat. Then set the meat aside, place a knob of butter on each piece, and let it rest for 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise with lime juice, crushed garlic clove, and chopped coriander. The steak can be served whole or sliced into thin pieces with potatoes and mayonnaise.
