INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g pork leg
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 orange pepper
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 400 ml pork broth (other types can be used)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 10 g cornstarch
  • A pinch of ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Chili to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cut the meat into thicker slices and then into strips across the grain. Slice the onion and peppers into strips as well, and crush the garlic.

    Pour oil into a pan, heat it, and fry the onion with the peppers so that they remain crunchy. Then set them aside from the pan, add oil, and place half of the meat in. Sear the meat, set it aside, and sear the second part.

    Return the already seared meat to the pan, add the crushed garlic, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Sauté for a minute and pour in the broth. Mix the cornstarch with a little water and add it to the pan. Reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes. Check and stir occasionally. Season with a pinch of ground chili, salt, and ground pepper.
