INGREDIENTS
- 10 cherries (approx. 70 g)
- 40 g white yogurt (3.5% fat)
- 50 g dark chocolate (min. 70%)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, prepare a plate and line it with baking paper. Dip the frozen cherries in yogurt, place them on the baking paper on the plate, and put them in the freezer for at least 45 minutes.
- 2Meanwhile, melt the chocolate over a water bath. Prepare a pot and a glass or stainless steel bowl that can be inserted into the pot without touching the bottom. Pour a small amount of water into the pot and heat it so that the water is gently boiling.
- 3In the meantime, break the chocolate into the bowl and add the coconut oil. Once the water in the pot starts boiling, reduce the heat to a low setting, carefully place the bowl with the chocolate and coconut oil into it, and let the mixture slowly melt over the hot steam while stirring constantly.
- 4Remove the melted chocolate from the steam, take the cherries in yogurt out of the freezer, and coat them one by one in the chocolate. Return the coated cherries to the baking paper and put them back in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to let the chocolate harden quickly.
- 5Then serve immediately or store in the freezer, where the bonbons will last up to 3 months.
Tip
Instead of cherries, you can use strawberries or raspberries, for example.
