About Manufacturer
The brewery in Rohozec was founded in 1850 by Ferdinand Unger, a large landowner and glass merchant. However, he did not live to see its ceremonial opening. The brewery was then taken over by his son Karel Unger, who achieved great success with it, and thanks to that, he was granted a noble title. Since 2004, his story has been widely known. During bankruptcy proceedings, the brewery was purchased by the current owners and the joint-stock company PIVOVAR ROHOZEC, a.s. was established. Since then, the brewery has regained its original renown.
