- 650 g turkey thighs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 peppercorns
- 4 allspice berries
- 1 carrot
- 1 parsley
INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUCE
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 60 g concentrated tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon cane sugar
- 1 chili pepper for serving

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING THE MEAT
- 1Clean and dice the carrot and parsley. Place the turkey thigh in the slow cooker, pour in 1 liter of water. Add the vegetables, spices, and salt. Cook on the first setting for approximately 4 hours.
- 2Once the meat falls off the bone, it is done. Remove it from the broth, discard the bones and tough tendons. Shred the meat using two forks. Keep the broth, it will be added to the sauce.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SAUCE
- 1Finely chop the onion, slice the garlic. Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the onion and garlic, add smoked paprika and tomato paste. Sauté for a minute and pour in 1.5 deciliters of broth from the cooked turkey thigh. Season with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and sugar.
- 2Serve with cooked rice. It is also suitable for buns or tortillas.
