INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 75 g white onion (finely chopped)
- 200 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 150 g mozzarella
- Salt
- Pepper
- 300 g any whole grain pasta in dry form (e.g., spelt pasta)
- 300 g chicken ham (95% meat)
- 5 eggs size M

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 190–195 °C and prepare a baking dish (30 cm × 40 cm).
- 2Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- 3While the pasta is cooking, heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onion to the pan and sauté over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Then slice the ham into thin strips, add them to the onion, and sauté for another 3 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave the ham and onion in the pan.
- 4Drain the cooked pasta, add it to the pan with the ham, season with salt and pepper, and transfer the entire mixture to the baking dish.
- 5In a smaller bowl, whisk the eggs together with the milk, pour this mixture over the pasta in the baking dish, and mix well.
- 6Finally, coarsely grate the mozzarella over the pasta, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 15–17 minutes at 190–195 °C.
- 7After baking, you can serve.
