INGREDIENTS
- 300 g pre-cooked red lentils
- 2 teaspoons dried marjoram
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 100 g carrot (peeled and coarsely grated)
- 70 g yellow onion (coarsely chopped)
- 200 g whole grain spelt flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 eggs size M

- Boiled or baked potatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 180–185 °C, prepare a baking sheet and line it with baking paper.
- 2Cook the red lentils according to the instructions on the package. Then drain and cool them under cold water.
- 3Now prepare a larger bowl, place the cooked lentils in it, add marjoram, oil, salt, pepper, garlic, carrot, eggs, and onion, and blend everything with a hand blender until smooth. Once the mixture is blended, add flour and mix everything with a wooden spoon.
- 4Shape the finished dough into patties, place them on the prepared baking sheet, and bake for 20–25 minutes at 180–185 °C.
- 5Serve after baking.

You can serve the patties on their own, for example with a sour cream dip, or as a main course with boiled or baked potatoes.
