INGREDIENTS
- 400 g light green tomatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 green jalapeño peppers
- 1 lime
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Half a handful of fresh cilantro
YOU WILL ALSO NEED
- 3 whole grain tortillas
- Parchment paper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Place them cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add garlic and halved peppers. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 20 minutes.
- 2Then peel the skin off the tomatoes and chop everything finely. Add the juice of half a lime, half a teaspoon of salt, and chopped cilantro. Mix the salsa and let it rest in the fridge.
- 3Prepare tortilla chips for serving. Cut the tortilla into pieces, place them on a baking sheet, and bake at 200°C until golden. It only takes a few minutes. Once cooled, the chips are crispy.
