INGREDIENTS
- 200 g vanilla Pribináček
- 2 eggs
- 160 to 170 g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Oil or lard for frying
INGREDIENTS FOR CINNAMON SUGAR
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and salt. Mix the eggs with Pribináček, add the dry ingredients, and briefly mix everything with a whisk.
- 2Heat lard or oil to 170°C in a wide saucepan or fryer; the fat level must be high enough for the doughnuts to float freely.
- 3Scoop small pieces of dough with a teaspoon, shape them into balls with oiled hands, and immediately drop them into the hot fat, frying until golden on all sides (about 4 minutes). Dip the spoon you use to scoop the dough in cold oil as well. You can drop the doughnuts directly from the spoon into the oil, but they won't all be perfectly round. They must have enough space in the oil to float and turn freely, as they will puff up a lot during frying.
- 4After frying, let the doughnuts drain briefly on a paper towel and coat them in cinnamon sugar while still warm.
