  • 200 g barley whole-grain flour
  • 100 g semi-coarse wheat flour
  • 120 g plain yogurt (3 %)
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g butter

  • 400 g grated apples
  • 60 g chicory syrup
  • Tablespoon of cinnamon
  • Almond flakes

    Preheat the oven to 175 °C.

    Then, mix together the flour, egg, yogurt, and melted butter. Knead into a non-sticky dough and divide it into two parts. Roll out thin sheets from each part.

    Mix the grated apples with chicory syrup and cinnamon. Spread onto the rolled-out sheets and roll up.

    Bake at 175 °C for approximately 25 minutes.

    According to your preferences, you can brush the strudel with a beaten egg before placing it in the oven. You can serve it sprinkled with sugar.
