INGREDIENTS
- 170 g leek
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 10 g butter
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 6 eggs size M
- 70 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 50 g cheddar (finely grated)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Salt
- Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 185–190 °C and prepare a larger pan suitable for the oven.
- 2Wash the leek and chop it finely. Peel the garlic and slice it into thin slices.
- 3Then, in the prepared pan, heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is heated, add the chopped leek, sliced garlic cloves, butter, and dried thyme to the pan. Sauté everything over medium heat for 5–6 minutes.
- 4Meanwhile, prepare the egg mixture. In a larger bowl, whisk all the eggs, 70 ml of semi-skimmed milk, finely grated cheddar, baking soda, salt, and pepper.
- 5When the leek mixture is sautéed, pour the whisked egg mixture into the pan, turn off the heat, and place the pan in the preheated oven. Bake for 17–18 minutes at 185–190 °C.
- 6After baking, cut the frittata into individual portions and serve.
