Sidecar cocktail

Juice the lemon and use the remaining pulp with the peel to moisten the rim of the glass (ideally a martini glass). Coat the moistened part of the glass in granulated sugar.

Put a few ice cubes into a cocktail shaker and pour in all ingredients.

Mix thoroughly together and strain through a sieve over fresh ice into a prepared glass.
