INGREDIENTS

  • 800 g shrimp (peeled or unpeeled, according to preference)
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 2 slices finely chopped ginger
  • 4 lime leaves
  • 1 chopped fresh chili pepper
  • 6 tablespoons tamarind sauce
  • 6 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 6 tablespoons cane sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Jasmine rice

INSTRUCTIONS

    In a bowl, mix the tamarind sauce, fish sauce, and cane sugar. Stir the sauce thoroughly to dissolve the sugar.

    Heat oil in a wok or pan, add chopped garlic, ginger, chili, and let it become fragrant. Add shrimp and pour in the prepared sauce, stir.

    Serve with jasmine rice.
