INGREDIENTS
- 800 g shrimp (peeled or unpeeled, according to preference)
- 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 2 slices finely chopped ginger
- 4 lime leaves
- 1 chopped fresh chili pepper
- 6 tablespoons tamarind sauce
- 6 tablespoons fish sauce
- 6 tablespoons cane sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Jasmine rice
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1In a bowl, mix the tamarind sauce, fish sauce, and cane sugar. Stir the sauce thoroughly to dissolve the sugar.
- 2Heat oil in a wok or pan, add chopped garlic, ginger, chili, and let it become fragrant. Add shrimp and pour in the prepared sauce, stir.
- 3Serve with jasmine rice.
