Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus, peel the white ones with a potato peeler – you don't need to peel the green ones. Cut the stalks into about half-centimeter slices. Cut the radishes into quarters.
Heat butter in an all-metal pan, add asparagus and radishes. Salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and immediately turn off the heat. You can also add chopped ham or similar.
Preheat the grill in the oven to red-hot and place the pan just below it with the rack in the upper part. Next to it, place the bread sprayed with oil. After 4 minutes, remove the bread and let it cool. After another minute, remove the pan from the oven.
