INGREDIENTS
- Rohlík's bread
- 2 stalks of asparagus (can be white or green)
- 2 radishes
- A piece of butter
- Salt
- Olive oil spray
- A slice of porchetta, mortadella or roasted ham
- A few fresh peas
- 2 tablespoons of fresh cheese (can be goat, with a flavor of nuts, herbs or blue cheese, etc.)
- Freshly ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus, peel the white ones with a potato peeler – you don't need to peel the green ones. Cut the stalks into about half-centimeter slices. Cut the radishes into quarters.
- 2Heat butter in an all-metal pan, add asparagus and radishes. Salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and immediately turn off the heat. You can also add chopped ham or similar.
- 3Preheat the grill in the oven to red-hot and place the pan just below it with the rack in the upper part. Next to it, place the bread sprayed with oil. After 4 minutes, remove the bread and let it cool. After another minute, remove the pan from the oven.
- 4Generously spread the toast with fresh cheese, top with the baked asparagus mixture. You can garnish with tiny radish leaves and freshly shelled peas. Serve hot.
