INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g chicken thigh fillets
  • 1 bunch of green asparagus
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper

INGREDIENTS FOR THE MARINADE

  • juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cut the chicken meat into equally sized pieces of approximately 3 centimeters and salt them.

    Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut it into pieces the same size as the meat.

    Trim the tough ends of the asparagus. Cut ⅓ of the bunch into 3-centimeter pieces. Leave the rest of the asparagus whole.

    For the marinade, mix all the ingredients in a larger bowl. Add the meat and let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours.

    Alternately skewer the meat, bell pepper, and asparagus on a skewer stick. Arrange the skewers on a baking sheet and add water (about 200 ml). Preheat the oven to 200°C, place the baking sheet with the skewers inside, and bake for 20 minutes.

    Then add the remaining asparagus, drizzle with oil, and bake for another 10 minutes.
