Ingredients
- 2 large bell peppers
- 300 g minced beef
- 1 large yellow onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 1 egg size M
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or sunflower oil)
- 125 g light mozzarella (coarsely grated)
- 10 g fresh basil (finely chopped)
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- 1First, preheat the oven to 160 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Wash the bell peppers, cut them in half, and remove the core.
- 3Then prepare the filling. In a large bowl, mix together the minced meat, diced onion, crushed garlic cloves, egg, tomato paste, and dried rosemary. Season with salt and pepper, and fill all the prepared bell pepper halves with the mixture.
- 4Place the filled bell peppers on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and bake for 20 minutes at 160 °C in the preheated oven.
- 5After this time, remove the bell peppers from the oven, sprinkle with coarsely grated mozzarella, and then return them to the oven for another 10 minutes to finish baking at 160 °C.
- 6Remove the finished baked bell peppers from the oven and let them cool for a while. Then sprinkle with finely chopped basil and serve.
