Ingredients

  • 230 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 g softened butter
  • 125 g granulated sugar
  • 1 pc egg yolk
  • 20 g vanilla sugar
  • 170 g almond flour
  • 2 g gingerbread spice
  • 3 pcs eggs
  • 270 g plums

Instructions

  • 1
Work the all-purpose flour, cold butter, sugar, and egg yolk into a smooth dough. If the dough consistency is poor, a drop of cold milk can be added.
  • 2
Form the dough into a disc and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  • 3
After half an hour, take the dough out of the refrigerator and carefully roll it out (to about 3 mm), carefully transfer it to a pie dish (diameter) and gently press the edges. Trim off any excess dough with a knife.
  • 4
Place the dish with the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour and prepare the filling in the meantime.
  • 5
Cream the softened butter in a bowl with sugar and vanilla sugar, then add the eggs one by one and beat them into the butter.
  • 6
This will create a slightly runny mixture, into which we sift the flour together with almond flour and gingerbread spice. Grind Kampotský červený pepř into the finished mixture.
  • 7
Spread the Frangipane over the chilled dough in the dish. Arrange sliced plums on top of the almond mixture. Sprinkle the prepared pie with a little powdered sugar.
  • 8
Place the dish in a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake for about 50-55 minutes. Let the baked pie cool and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
  • 9
(TIP: From the remaining dough, you can cut out any shapes to decorate the pie or sprinkle the pie with almond slivers).
