INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g very ripe bananas
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g melted butter
  • 280 g all-purpose wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 100 g chips or chopped 70% dark chocolate

INSTRUCTIONS

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

    Whisk the eggs with sugar until foamy.

    Mash the bananas with a fork and transfer them to a bowl with the whisked eggs. Add the melted butter. Choose a K-type attachment and combine.

    Now add the flour, a pinch of salt, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Mix everything again and finally carefully fold in the chocolate chips.

    Grease the loaf pan with butter and dust with flour, then transfer the batter into the pan.

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes. After baking, check with a dry skewer to see if the dough sticks to it. If not, you can remove the bread; if the dough sticks, let the bread bake for another 5-10 minutes.

    After baking, let it cool, then unmold the bread.

    Serve with your favorite yogurt or quark and fruit.
