INGREDIENTS
- 6 wheat tortillas
- 200 g cheddar
- 250 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 30g butter
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- Olive oil
- 2 pinches red ground paprika
- 2 pinches salt
- 2 pinches pepper
- Jalapeño peppers (to taste)
- Nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Cut out bats or other Halloween shapes from the tortillas. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with oil, season with salt, and sprinkle with ground paprika. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 - 20 minutes until golden.
- 2Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan, mix with flour to make a roux. Pour in milk and whisk to make béchamel. Season with salt and add nutmeg. Finally, stir in grated cheese and jalapeño peppers to taste.
- 3Serve the crispy chips with warm cheddar dip.
