INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 180 °C, prepare a baking tray (20 cm × 30 cm), and line it with baking paper.
- 2Separate the eggs into whites and yolks. Whip the egg whites in a tall container until stiff peaks form (2–3 minutes) and beat the yolks with sugar in a larger bowl until creamy (2–3 minutes). Then add oil, flour, baking powder, and cocoa to the yolks. Mix until smooth and then gently fold in the whipped egg whites with a spatula.
- 3Pour the finished batter onto the tray and bake for 15–20 minutes at 175–180 °C. Then remove it from the oven and let it cool to room temperature (about 1 hour).
- 4Once the base has cooled, whip the cream cheese with sugar and butter, spread it on the base, and place it in the fridge.
- 5Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate glaze: In a small pot over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter while stirring occasionally (2–3 minutes). Finally, stir in the milk and sugar, remove the mixture from the heat, and let it cool for 10 minutes. Then pour it over the base.
