INGREDIENTS
- 1 onion
- 400 g silken tofu
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon black salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Chop the onion finely. Pour oil into a pan and sauté the onion over low heat. Mash the tofu with a fork and add it to the pan. Add nutritional yeast and turmeric. Simmer for a few minutes to evaporate the liquid. Simmer to the desired consistency. Before serving, add ground pepper and black salt, which ensures the typical egg flavor.
- 2If using firm tofu, add 50 ml of plant-based milk or cream to the pan to achieve the same consistency and prevent the mixture from drying out.
- 3Serve with your favorite vegetables and bread.
