INGREDIENTS
- 100 ml Garden Gourmet vEGGie egg alternative
- 150 g dark (vegan) chocolate
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 90 g pecans
- 90 g flour
- 115 g vegetable margarine
- 80g preserved sour cherries
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Melt the chocolate and margarine in a bain-marie. Mix sugar with vanilla sugar and add to the chocolate mixture. Stir in Garden Gourmet vEGGie. Then add flour and a pinch of salt and mix until you get a smooth consistency.
- 2Lightly coat the sour cherries in flour and add them along with the nuts to the dough.
- 3Pour the brownie batter into a baking dish and bake for approximately 50 minutes at 160 °C.
- 4After cooling, cut into cubes, sprinkle with the remaining pecans and serve.
Tip
1. If you coat the sour cherries in flour, the fruit will distribute better in the batter and won't sink to the bottom, preventing burning. This also applies to raisins and other dried fruits.
2. Pecans can be easily replaced with other types of nuts. Walnuts and pistachios taste especially good. Those who don't like nuts can omit them entirely.
