Preparation method
First, prepare the dressing: Finely chop the dill, peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater. Put the chopped dill and grated garlic into a small bowl and mix with quark, salt, and pepper.
Then prepare the vegetables: Wash the tomatoes, peel the onions, and slice both thinly.
Next, wash and clean the chicken breasts and cut them into thin strips. Place them in a large bowl, add oregano, smoked paprika, ground chili, ground coriander, tomato paste, salt, and pepper, and thoroughly mix the entire contents of the bowl so that the meat is coated. Then take a large pan, heat 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil in it, add the coated chicken strips, and sauté them, stirring occasionally, for 8 – 9 minutes over medium heat.

Each portion of gyros can be served with whole wheat pita bread.
