- 200 g tomatoes
- 2 medium red or yellow onions
- 600 g chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon crushed oregano
- 1 tablespoon ground smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground chili
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
- Salt
- Pepper
INGREDIENTS FOR DRESSING
- 1 large handful fresh dill
- 2 cloves garlic
- 250 g semi-fat quark from a tub
- Salt
- Pepper
METHOD
- 1First, prepare the dressing: Finely chop the dill, peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater. Put the chopped dill and grated garlic into a small bowl and mix with quark, salt, and pepper.
- 2Then prepare the vegetables: Wash the tomatoes, peel the onions, and slice both thinly.
- 3Next, wash and clean the chicken breasts and cut them into thin strips. Place them in a large bowl, add oregano, smoked paprika, ground chili, ground coriander, tomato paste, salt, and pepper, and thoroughly mix the entire contents of the bowl so that the meat is coated. Then take a large pan, heat 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil in it, add the coated chicken strips, and sauté them, stirring occasionally, for 8 – 9 minutes over medium heat.
- 4Divide the sautéed meat, sliced vegetables, and dressing among 4 plates and serve.
