INGREDIENTS
- 4 thinly sliced steaks
- 3 large onions (sliced thinly)
- Potatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 4 medium-sized eggs
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 180°C and preheat the oven to 90°C. Peel and cut the potatoes into fries and wait for the oil to heat up.
- 2Fry the fries in hot vegetable oil until golden. Then drain on a baking sheet lined with paper towels, season with salt, and place in the oven to keep warm.
- 3Carefully pour the excess vegetable oil into a separate container, leaving about 3 tablespoons in the pan, or use a new pan.
- 4Sauté the onions in vegetable oil until soft and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Remove the onions and place them in a shallow pan or casserole dish and put in the oven.
- 5Finely chop the garlic. Season one side of the steaks with salt, pepper, and half of the chopped garlic. Pound the steaks with a meat mallet, then turn them over and repeat on the other side with the remaining garlic.
- 6Sear the steaks on high heat, turning once, until browned on both sides and cooked to the desired doneness. Place the steaks on the onions and return to the oven.
- 7Add a little oil to the pan and fry the eggs sunny side up. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- 8While the eggs are cooking, remove the potatoes, steak, and onions from the oven.
