First, pour a sufficient amount of water for cooking spaghetti into a large pot, salt it, and bring it to a boil over high heat. Once the water starts boiling, add the spaghetti to the pot and cook for 14–15 minutes over medium heat.
Meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients: Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Roughly chop the parsley. Finely grate the Parmesan. Wash the zucchini and use a peeler to create long strips from the skin and part of the flesh without seeds. Then, cut the part containing the seeds into 1 cm × 1 cm cubes.
After the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 200 ml of the cooking water in a cup, then drain the spaghetti.
