INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pieces of fresh ginger the size of a thumb
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon of brown cane sugar
  • 1 compote pear + 100 ml juice from compote pear
  • 6 basil leaves
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

    Peel the ginger and cut it into smaller pieces. Pour about 200 ml of boiling water over it and let it steep for 10 minutes. Then strain the water, mix in the sugar, and let it cool.

    Slice the cucumber and cut the pear into smaller cubes.

    In two glasses with a volume of 400 ml, add a sufficient amount of ice, then add the cucumber, pear, compote juice, and basil.

    Pour in the steeped ginger and top up the glass with sparkling water, mix everything together. (Sugar can be added to taste.)
