INGREDIENTS
- 2 thumb-sized pieces of fresh ginger
- ½ cucumber
- 1 tablespoon brown cane sugar
- 1 canned pear + 1 dcl juice from canned pear
- 6 basil leaves
- Sparkling water
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Peel the ginger and cut it into smaller pieces. Pour about 2 dcl of boiling water over it and let it steep for 10 minutes. Then strain the water, stir in the sugar, and let it cool.
- 2Slice the cucumber and dice the pear into smaller cubes.
- 3In two 0.4 dcl glasses, add a sufficient amount of ice, then add the cucumber, pear, compote juice, and basil.
- 4Pour in the steeped ginger and top up the glass with sparkling water, mix everything together. (Sugar can be added to taste.)
