INGREDIENTS
- 300 g beef sirloin
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon Chinese seasoning* (optional)
- 5 tablespoons dark soy sauce with reduced salt
- 1 tablespoon distilled vinegar (8%)
- 1 teaspoon brown cane sugar
- 20 g cornstarch
- 200 ml chicken broth (can be replaced with water)
- 3 tablespoons rapeseed or sunflower oil
- 150 g broccoli florets
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sesame seeds
SIDE DISH
- Rice
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Then prepare a large bowl, add the sliced sirloin, chopped garlic, Chinese seasoning, salt, and pepper, and mix everything thoroughly. Set the bowl aside and let the meat mixture rest (ideally for 30 minutes, but a shorter time will suffice).
- 2In the meantime, mix soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, and chicken broth in a glass.
- 3After the meat mixture has rested, prepare a large pan and heat 3 tablespoons of oil over high heat. Then add the meat mixture to the pan and fry it for 3–4 minutes over high heat, stirring occasionally. Then add the broccoli florets and fry everything for another 3–4 minutes over high heat. Then reduce the heat to medium, pour the prepared mixture from the glass into the pan, stir the contents of the pan, and cook everything for 5–6 minutes until a thick sauce forms that coats the meat and broccoli.
- 4Then turn off the heat, divide the mixture from the pan into 4 portions, and serve immediately.
- 5Sprinkle each portion with white sesame seeds and serve with rice as a side dish.
