INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium yellow onions (2× approx. 70 g)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 medium carrots (2× approx. 70 g)
- 150 g celery stalks
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 400 g ground turkey meat (max. 10% fat)
- 30 g tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 400 g peeled chopped canned tomatoes
- Salt
- Pepper

- Parmesan
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Peel the carrot and cut it into small cubes. Clean the celery stalks and also cut them into small cubes.
- 2Now prepare a deep pan and heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in it over medium heat. Then add the chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery stalks to the pan and sauté everything for 3–4 minutes over medium heat. Then add the ground turkey meat to the pan and sauté everything for another 8–10 minutes over medium heat. Next, add the tomato paste, oregano, dried basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and sauté everything for another 3–4 minutes. Then reduce the heat to low, add 150 ml of water and canned chopped tomatoes to the pan, cover the pan with a lid, and cook the entire mixture for 20–25 minutes.
- 3After the specified time, season the mixture in the pan with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
Tip
Serve the finished Bolognese sauce with spaghetti and Parmesan shavings. You can also freeze it – it will last up to 6 months in the freezer.
