INGREDIENTS

  • 60 g of white quinoa in dry state
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of Dutch cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cane sugar crystal
  • 20 g of dark chocolate (min. 90%)

INSTRUCTIONS

    Prepare a small pot and add quinoa, cinnamon, Dutch cocoa, honey, and cane sugar. Then pour 400 ml of water over the entire contents of the pot and start heating it on high flame. Once the water starts boiling, reduce the flame to medium, cover the pot with a lid, and let the mixture cook for 13–15 minutes until the quinoa softens. Stir the mixture occasionally during cooking and roughly chop the chocolate in the meantime.

    Once the porridge in the pot is cooked, turn off the heat and stir the chopped chocolate into the hot porridge. Then blend the contents of the pot with a hand blender, divide the resulting mixture into 2 plates, and serve immediately.
Tip
Serve the porridge with any fresh fruit, honey, and fresh mint leaves. We also garnished each serving with shavings of dark chocolate.
