INGREDIENTS

  • 200 g wholemeal spelt plain flour
  • 3 tablespoons Dutch cocoa
  • 200 ml low-fat milk
  • 2 medium-sized eggs
  • 60 g liquid honey
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 80 g coarsely chopped dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa)
  • Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

    First, preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a loaf pan (13 cm × 23 cm) with baking paper.

    In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except the chocolate and whisk until a smooth batter forms. Then stir in the chocolate and pour the resulting batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45–50 minutes at 180–190 °C.

    After baking, leave the bread in the pan for about 20 minutes, then remove it and let it cool for another 30 minutes. Finally, divide it into 9 slices and serve.
