INGREDIENTS
- 400 g white smooth spelt flour
- 2 eggs size M
- 2 tablespoons liquid honey
- 30 g vanilla whey protein
- 300 g low-fat quark
- 80 ml canola oil
- 220 ml unflavored sparkling water
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a larger baking dish (25 cm × 25 cm) with baking paper.
- 2Sift the flour into a larger bowl, add the eggs, honey, vanilla protein, sparkling water, and canola oil, and use a kitchen mixer or whisk to create a smooth, slightly liquid batter. Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for 50–55 minutes at 180–185 °C.
- 3After baking, let the cake sit in the baking dish for 5 minutes. Then remove it, let it cool for at least 30 minutes, and then spread quark over the entire surface. Cut the cake into desired portions and serve.
