INGREDIENTS
- 3 large bananas (3× approx. 160 g)
- 2 medium-sized eggs
- 60 g butter (room temperature)
- 70 g liquid honey
- 150 g whole grain spelt flour
- 50 g fine oats
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 100 g dark chocolate (min. 70%)
- Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 185 °C, prepare a small loaf pan (approx. 18 cm × 7 cm) and line it with baking paper. Also, prepare a large bowl.
- 2Now peel the bananas, place them in the prepared bowl, and mash them into a puree with a fork. Then add the eggs, butter, and honey, mix, add the spelt flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt, and mix again. Then finely chop the dark chocolate and stir it into the mixture in the bowl.
- 3Pour the finished batter into the prepared pan, place it in the oven, and bake for 45–50 minutes at 180–185 °C.
- 4After baking, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then remove it from the pan onto a work surface and let it cool completely (this will take 30–60 minutes).
- 5Then slice the bread and serve.
