Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Grease the mold with butter and dust with flour.

Core the apples and cut them into 1 cm cubes.

Place all ingredients except the apples into a stand mixer bowl and mix at medium speed for 3 minutes. Add the apples, reduce speed, and mix for 1 minute.

Chef's tip

Serve with whipped cream. You'll know the cake is baked when you insert a skewer into the center and pull it out dry. If there's raw batter on the skewer after pulling it out, bake for a little longer.
